This Privacy Policy describes how Pre collects, uses, and protects your information when you use the Pre mobile application and related services.
What We Collect
Photos: When you scan a meal, your food photo is sent to our servers for analysis. Photos are processed in real time and are not stored after the analysis is complete.
Usage Data: We may automatically collect basic usage data such as device type, operating system, and crash reports to maintain and improve the service.
What We Don't Collect: No account or login required. No names, email addresses, or personal information. No health data. Scan history is stored locally on your device and is never uploaded to our servers. No location data. No cookies or advertising identifiers.
How We Use Your Data
Photos are used solely to identify foods and generate a glucose impact analysis. They are processed by third-party AI services and are not retained, sold, or used for model training.
Third-Party Services
To provide the analysis, your food photo is processed by Google (Gemini) for food identification, Anthropic (Claude) for glucose impact analysis, and Cloudflare for request processing.
Subscription purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. Subscription status is managed through RevenueCat, a third-party subscription management service. RevenueCat receives anonymous transaction data from Apple to verify your subscription status. No personal payment information is stored by Pre or RevenueCat.
Data Retention
We do not retain food photos or analysis results. No user data is stored on our servers beyond the duration of a single request.
Children's Privacy
The service is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Security
We use industry-standard security measures to protect data in transit. Since we do not store user data, the risk of data breach is minimal.
